Wet 'n' Wild Comfort Zone Palette Tutorial

I love reading tutorials on blogs, so I thought I would make an attempt at one of my own using the Wet 'n' Wild Comfort Zone palette.

I used just the colors on the left side of the palette.

daylight bulb
natural light

Primed lid with Urban Decay's Primer Potion
"Eyelid" color on the moving lid

"Crease"color in the crease and a little above it

Crease color blended with the "browbone" color and some of it on the inner corner

"Definer" color as liner and also in the outside corner v

"Definer" color on the lower lashline

Added Benefit's They're Real mascara and filled in my brows a little

Cheeks:  Milani Coming Up Roses Powder Blush in Flora Passion
Lips:  Milani Color Statement Lipliner in Nude
Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick in Lovelight

from left: Milani blush in Flora Passion, Milani lipliner in Nude, Urban Decay lipstick in Lovelight

I like how the eyes turned out, but I'm not sure about the tutorial.  Maybe I'll try another one when I'm doing something really adventurous with my makeup so it's a little more interesting.   (And when I'm using a better camera /better lighting so the photos are better quality... Oh well.  It was my first try at this!)

Thanks for visiting and checking out my first pictorial!  Have a gorgeous day!

  2. Ah, super pretty! I've been really tempted by this palette- so many shimmery neutrals with a few unexpected colours thrown in. Thanks for the swatches :)

    1. The green color on the right side is kind of a surprise bonus color in with the neutrals.

  4. Lovely look! I'm also digging that Milani blush! I've seen them floating about Instagram, but have yet to see them in stores.

    1. Thank you Lisa! The blush was limited edition and sold out online, so it might be gone for good. Or until they realize how popular it was and decide to bring it back! (I wish companies would do that.)
