EotD with MAC Silver Sun

Silver Sun seems like kind of an odd name for a "midtone dirty sea foam green" (MAC's description). It's a gorgeous color no matter what the name.

Lid -- MAC Silver Sun Extra Dimension Eyeshadow (from the Alluring Aquatics collection)
Crease -- Glasswing (matte dark tan) from the Kat Von D Chrysalis palette
Under brow -- Lifelike (matte cream) from the Kat Von D Chrysalis palette
Fresh Supernova Mascara (using up an old sample!)

Quite a simple look, but pretty I think.

  1. Maybe the "Silver Sun" is the reflection of the sun in the water? I often why certain shades are named the way they are too. Maybe just because it sounds cool.

  2. "Reflection of the sun in the water." Poetic! Much better than a "dirty" color.

  3. I LOVE this look. Greens are my favorite color and I don't even wear them often at all. Great job!

  5. Ooh, what a perfect summery shade of green- so pretty on you! It took every ounce of self-control I had to not buy that entire MAC collection :)

  7. Thank you, Tanya! I like how this one is kind of neutral and less in-your-face green, so it seems more wearable for everyday.
