Surprise the Dragon Look of the Day

It's a day that ends in "y", so I thought it would be appropriate to use the Urban Decay Vice 3 palette on my eyes.  This time I used some neutrals on the upper lid, and the bright green shade "Dragon" on the lower lashline.  I thought the green pop of color on the lower lashline was sort of a surprise, which is how I came up with the name of the post.

Eyes: from the Urban Decay Vice 3 palette
--- Angel (sparkly taupe) all over the moving lid
--- Defy (matte dark cool grey) in the outer corner
--- Revolver (sparkly black) as liner on the upper lashline and a little on the lower
--- Undone (tan) as transition color in the crease
--- Truth (ivory) under the brow
--- Dragon (bright shimmery green) on the lower lashline

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eyeliner in Perversion on the waterlines
Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Lash Extending Treatment Mascara

Cheeks: Elizabeth Arden Beautiful Color Radiance Blush in Sweet Peach

Lips: Milani Color Statement Lip Liner in Nude

More shots of the look, because I quite enjoyed this one.  Even though my hair is not so hot.

I was born in the Chinese year of the Dragon, so I'm drawn to anything dragon-y.  So, here's a close-up of Dragon from the Vice 3 palette.

Look at that green!  Just the kind of green I imagine when I think of Dragon's scales.

I hope you enjoyed this look as much as I did.  Have a wonderful day, my friends!

  10. Thank you, Jennifer! Color everyday! (I do love the way you spell colour. I feel like an unsophisticated American spelling it color. :) )

  12. Stunning as always. I've been really digging flashes of green on the lower lash line myself these days (wearing an Olive eye liner today) and I've purchased two new green liners in as many weeks which is rare for me. :-)

  14. Thank you, Jaa! I'm beyond flattered by your words. I think maybe the lighting I sometimes use makes my skin look better. ;) I am considering posting my skincare routine now, though...

  15. I think green liner is a wonderful way to wear the shade. I definitely love wearing green all over my lids, but sometimes I think a bit of bright liner is modern and fashionable, y'know?
