Spring-y Pinks with Urban Decay and Becca

I know it's only February, but I cannot wait for spring.  Maybe that's why I'm tending to use so many colors that feel spring-y (as in spring inspired, not elastic and bouncy).  Of course, I had to use the Urban Decay Vice 3 palette.

Pardon the wet hair.

Extreme close-up:

Eyes: from the Urban Decay Vice 3 palette
--- Alien (shimmery pink) all over the moving lid
--- Alchemy (shimmery raspberry) in the crease and outer v
--- Bondage (very dark plum) as liner on the upper and lower lashlines
--- Undone (tan) to blend Alchemy above the crease
--- Truth (ivory) under the brow and in the inner corner

from left: Alien, Alchemy, Bondage, Undone, Truth

    Mally Volumizing Mascara

Cheeks: Becca Beach Tint Shimmer Soufflé in Lychee/Opal

Lips: Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Lip Pencil in Turn-On
Sephora Ultra Shine Lip Gloss in Forbidden Move (discontinued)

from left: Becca blush in Lychee/Opal, Urban Decay lip pencil in Turn-On, Sephora lip gloss in Forbidden Move

The Becca Beach Tint Shimmer Soufflé in Lychee/Opal is gorgeous.  Seriously.

I usually use my fingers to pat this blush on my cheeks, but I used the Sonia Kashuk duo fiber multipurpose brush (number 115) to apply it today.  Both techniques work well for this spongy-textured blush.

A couple more photos of the look:

Is it spring yet?  I am sick of the snow and the "arctic blast" temperatures.

  1. So fresh and pretty! I love when people sport pink eye shadow- it's more wearable than many think! These tones are so perfect with your eyes :)
