Charlotte Tilbury Haul

Yep.  I did it.  I bought some Charlotte Tilbury stuff that was on my wish list.  And I'm glad I did.

I bought the Filmstar Bronze & Glow, a Cheek to Chic Blusher, and a K.I.S.S.I.N.G. lipstick.

The Filmstar Bronze & Glow packaging is a as gorgeous as everyone says.

It has a little star on the corner of the mirror.

I ended up choosing the shade Love Glow for the Cheek to Chic blush, rather than Love is the Drug.  I tend to be kind of heavy handed with blush, and I was afraid Love is the Drug was going to be too bright, so I opted for Love Glow which looked similar in undertone, but less bright pink.

I bought 'K.I.S.S.I.N.G' Lipstick in Bitch Perfect.

"Charlotte Tilbury" is etched into the metal.

Swatches:

from left: Charlotte Tilbury Cheek to Chic Blusher in Love Glow, Charlotte Tilbury Flimstar Bronze & Glow Highlight and Sculpt -- Sculpt shade and Highlight shade

from left: Charlotte Tilbury K.I.S.S.I.N.G. Lipstick in Bitch Perfect and Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat Lip Liner in Pillow Talk

So, the Film Star Bronze & Glow is some magic stuff.  The first time I put it on, I actually said out loud "holy cheekbones!"  I kid you not.  I have never felt that way when I use NYX Taupe blush or Too Faced Milk Chocolate bronzer (the two products I usually use to contour).

Here's the result the first time I used the Filmstar Bronze & Glow.  I may have gone a little crazy with the highlighter.  I dunno.  I still like how it looks.  Full post on the look coming soon.

If you have been considering buying the Filmstar Bronze & Glow (and, more importantly, if you have the funds), I have some advice for you.  BUY IT.  NOW.  How's that for some obnoxious enabling?

Hey, how do you like my background for these pics?

You guys know how obsessed I am with dragons.

  3. OOOO YESSSSSSSSSS!!!!! I love the Filmstar Bronze and Glow, although it's been taking a backseat lately due to Becca's Champagne Pop... I'm going to eventually pick up Bitch Perfect and some kind of blush. Cuz my god they're beautiful.

  4. Bitch Perfect is perfect. And I'm actively trying to not buy another blush.

  5. I didn't even realize I did some strobing. It's all the highlighter and not my application skills. Thanks, Tanya!
