Pink and Purple for My Husband

My husband requested an eye look using pink and purple shades.  I was happy to do one.  Plus, I got to wear some fun pink earrings that kind of matched the shadows.






Eyes: Milani Powder Eyeshadow in Tickled Pink (pink with gold shimmer) on the lid (discontinued)
          Urban Decay eyeshadow in Woodstock (hot pink) on the lid (Tickled Pink seemed washed out)
          Urban Decay eyeshadow in Flash (slightly duo-chrome purple) in the crease and lower lashline
          Elizabeth Arden Beautiful Color Eyeshadow in Bone (matte ivory) under the brows
          Sonia Kashuk Gel Eyeliner in Ebony on the upper lash line
          Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eyeliner in Perversion (black) on the waterlines
          Mally Volumizing Mascara




Cheeks: Too Faced Perfect Flush Blush in Peach Beach

Lips: Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat Lip Liner in Pillow Talk
         Clinique Pop Lip Colour + Primer in Nude Pop

I wasn't happy with how Tickled Pink looked (kind of non-existent, honestly), so I added a bit of Woodstock (the hot pink) over the top on the outer 2/3 of the lid.  The whole eye look ended up a bit matte overall, and I was hoping for a little shimmer on the lid.  Oh well.  My husband liked it.


I do love the Too Faced Peach Beach blush.

    GORGEOUS! I'm looking the cheek colour as well. I've never bought one of those heart shaped blushes from Too Faced (although I've always salivated over them), this may very well push me over the edge!

    The blush is quite shimmery, so it kind of works as a highlighter, too. I'm wearing a lot of it here, but what can I say. I love blush. Especially Peach Beach.
    My husband loves smoky eye looks, but I guess he wanted to see some color!

    I think it looks lovely! My SO has never suggested a makeup look, but sometimes I let him pick which color I'll paint my nails. He almost always picks green or teal though, now that I think about it. Hmm.
