The Darkside Face of the Day

Uh oh.  Another attempt at a creative blog post title.  This one is based on the shade "Darkside" in the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette that I used.  This isn't a dark look, so the name doesn't really fit, does it?









Eyes: from the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette
                    --- Limit (matte light mauve) in and above the crease to blend out Nooner
                    --- Nooner (matte dark mauve) in the crease to blend with Darkside
                    --- Darkside (shimmery dark grey) all over the moving lid
                    --- Blackheart (sparkling black) as liner on the upper lashes
                    --- Strange (matte cream) under the brow to blend out Limit

    Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner in Pistol (shimmery cool tan) on the lower lashline
    Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner in Perversion (black) on the waterlines

Cheeks: from the Sephora + Pantone Universe Rush Luster Cheek Sweep palette
                    --- Radiant Orchid
                    --- Spanish Villa (as highlighter)


Lips: Lipstick Queen Let Them Eat Cake lipstick

Can we just bask in the glory that is the sparkly goodness of Lipstick Queen's Let Them Eat Cake lipstick for a moment?

Ahhh so sparkly!!

I pretty much love the way this look turned out, which is why so many photos were necessary.  :P

P.S.  What do you think of the blog's new look?  No more Pepto Bismol pink (I was sick of it).

    This is gorgeous! Naked 3 is so perfect for a smokey eye and that Lipstick Queen shade is amazing on you :)

    This look is really pretty! I agree, the name Darkside isn't all that fitting. I do like the new blog layout too! I'm getting kinda bored with mine too so I might mix it up soon.

    I have GOT to figure out how to come up with better face of the day names. Seriously.


    I'm pretty happy with the blog looks, although I kind of wish the header was centered. Not enough to mess around with trying to change it though. I don't know how to do programming/coding as a fancy as that, so I'm going to leave it because I think it's okay.

    Thank you, Jennifer! The Lipstick Queen lipstick is the most expensive lipstick I own now ($45 USD). However, I only paid $0.44 for it!

    Thank you! I love sparkly/shimmery/frosty lipsticks. Really sparkly anything. I wonder if I'll ever get to an age when I think it's no longer appropriate for me...
