Throwback Thursday with Too Faced

I have decided to do a "Throwback Thursday" series.  I thought it would be fun to take a look at some of the ancient cosmetics in my beauty vault.  I'm thinking it will either help me get rid of some old, unusable stuff, or simply decide to be a collector and give up on getting rid of something and just keep it for sentimental reasons and stop feeling guilty about it.  Most of the products I have that are rather old were gratis from when I worked in the cosmetics industry.

Today, we have the Too Faced Quicky Chronicles face palettes.  There were maybe ten of these released, but I only have four in my collection.

My favorite is probably "The Sweet Tarte" because of the art on the cover (plus the colors are nice).

Anyone remember these?

  3. I left another comment on one of your other posts, but your eyeshadow skills are amazing! Now matter now much I play with makeup , my eyes never come out like that (and mine are hooded like yours!) I would love to see some tutorials!

  4. There are days when I wipe off my eye makeup a few times and have to try try again. Or I just throw my hands in the air and give up for the day.

  5. What year are these from? I never had any of them, but I like seeing old stuff. Nostalgia is fun.

  7. The one thing I didn't like about these palettes was how gross the lip colors would get. But the cover art was so great!

  8. I don't remember these but you have to remember it wasn't until 2 years ago when I found my hidden passion for makeup.....I think I was in a brain fog for about 10 years....LOL!

  9. I found my passion for makeup when I was a kid. My Aunt Martha would give me, my mom, and my sister a small box of Clinique samples and free gift stuff she didn't want every time we saw her, so that's when I got hooked. I may still have some of the things I chose from those boxes...
