Bronzer as Eyeshadow Look of the Day

Ever have those days where you just don't quite know what to do to make the day feel "right"?  I was having one of those.  I thought sitting down to do my makeup would help, but I was feeling completely uninspired and didn't feel like doing much.  I thought to myself "I know!  I'll use a bronzer as an eyeshadow just to mix it up!  That will be fun!"  After I applied it, I decided I wasn't really digging it.  Meh.  Maybe I'll play with some eyeshadow tonight (yes, I do that) and add a bunch of pink and purple to it.

Eyes: LORAC TANtalizer Baked Bronzer as eyeshadow all over the moving lid

Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder to blend out Toasted
         Maybelline Full 'N Soft Mascara

Cheeks: Neutrogena Healthy Skin Custom Glow Blush and Bronzer in Rosy Glow

Lips: Maybelline Color Sensational The Elixir lipgloss in 095 Blush Essence

My "winter blues" slowly changed into "I'm sick of winter" depression and is now an "I hate winter" rage.

Stay sane my friends!

  1. I love it! It looks beautiful! And I feel you on the winter blues. I'm so over this winter crap already. I do find that sitting down to do my makeup makes me feel that much better though. Really lifts my spirits. Until I step outside lol.

  2. I like this look a lot. And I definitely have the winter blues too... meh. Meh. Have I said meh? Right now I'm wearing sparkly green eyeshadow though (Notoriously Morbid to the rescue), which I guess is my way of dealing with it.

  3. I think it looks lovely! Really brings out your eyes. And I can so related to your angst about winter. The weather in Toronto has been so unrelentingly cold and snowy (I'm sure quite similar to Michigan's fate)- I'm so ready for Spring!

    1. Thanks!
I'm ready for spring too, but at this point I'd be happy if some of the snow melted.
