Face of the Day with MAKE UP FOR EVER and Charlotte Tilbury

Another attention-grabbing post title.  At least it's descriptive.  I used my new Charlotte Tilbury goodies along with the gorgeous MAKE UP FOR EVER (aka MUFE) Nudes You Need Artist Palette.  I'm really pleased with how everything came together and the final look, so prepare yourself for lots of pics.

My lashes look kind of weird these days, with some of them growing straighter than usual.
It also seems like maybe I've lost the tips on the ones on my left eye, so they look weird and stumpy instead of tapered like a normal eyelash.  I'm wondering if maybe I used an old mascara for too long (I opened a new tube last week), and the lashes became brittle and broke off.  But it's just my left eyelashes.  Weird.  Ah well.  Hopefully they'll be back to normal soon.

Eyes: from the MUFE Nudes You Need Artist Palette
--- D-562 (sparkling warm taupe) all over the lid
--- S-556 (satin grey taupe) in and slightly above the crease, and on the lower lash line
--- S-102 (satin black) in the crease
--- I-528 (shimmery off-white) in the inner corner
matte cream-toned shadow from the Kat Von D Ladybird Palette (discontinued) under the brow
Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper (black liquid liner)
Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Perversion (black) on the waterlines
         Mally Volumizing Mascara

Cheeks: Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow palette
--- sculpt shade under the cheekbones and upper part of the forehead
--- highlight shade on the tops of the cheekbones and the bridge of the nose
Charlotte Tilbury Cheek to Chic Blusher in Love Glow

I used the Real Techniques Stippling Brush to apply the sculpt shade of the Bronze & Glow, and a Paula Dorf fan brush for the highlighter shade.

Lips: Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat Lip Liner in Pillow Talk
Charlotte Tilbury K.I.S.S.I.N.G. Lipstick in Bitch Perfect

Ohhhh the highlight!

So, you'll notice I have my hair back and in a headband.  Yeah.  One of those days where I go all out with the makeup but do nothing with my hair.  Please tell me I'm not the only one who does this.

Have a happy hump day!

P.S.  I'm behind on reading all of my favorite blogs!  I hope to catch up soon!

  1. No, you are not the only one. If I only have time to do hair or makeup, makeup always wins!! I love the overall colour scheme of this look. All of the different undertones in the lipstick, blush, and eyeshadow really complement one another!

  3. Oh, that golden highlight shade from that palette gets me every time! It's so pretty! I totally do the same thing! Full face of makeup with hair on top of my head. Who has time for hair, right?

  4. Beautiful look! I'm loving that highlight! Wow! I've actually gone all out on my face only to tie my hair back in a bunch and call it a day haha. It happens. :) The headband looks super cute though.

  5. Thank you, Jennifer! The MUFE palette is really great, even though it only has shimmery/sparkly shades. The quality is fantastic.

  6. I'm always amazed by people who have enough time for both perfect hair and perfect makeup. I mea, how early do they get up??

  7. The head band is silver, so I suppose that makes it slightly fancier... :)

  8. I enjoy doing my makeup but have never enjoyed doing my hair. Maybe I should start wearing wigs or something. I actually have a collection of them...

  9. Nope! You're not the only one! I rarely ever style my hair even when I have a full face of a makeup on. LOL. Love the look as always, Ingrid. I guess I don't need to tell you anymore how jealous I am of your skills. ;) I just bought the Charlotte Tilbury Bronze & Glow and Love Glow. My goodness they are PRETTY! Why didn't I buy them ages ago?!! LOL!
