So, do pastels = Easter for you, too?
Have a wonderful day, my friends!
Happy Easter! We don't celebrate, but I do enjoy any excuse to bust out fun pastels. Easter in my memory = pastels and super-waxy chocolate bunnies from the drugstore, haha.
ReplyDeleteYour eyes look gorgeous!!! How do you apply your glittery Colourpop shadows so precisely? I find the mattes work well with brushes for me, but my glittery one never comes up really opaque. But regardless, you look stunning!
ReplyDeleteLove the pastel green and teal!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful and colourful look!
ReplyDeleteI used a flat, stiff shader brush with these ColourPop shadows because I wanted precise placement. These shades were quite opaque, but there are some that I find I absolutely have to use my finger for in order to get the full color (So Quiche and Cricket, most notably). It seemed like these had more base pigment than many of the other glittery shades to start with. It seems to depend on the shadow. I also make sure to "pat" them on instead of using a swiping motion. I've actually been meaning to try So Quiche and/or Cricket with a sticky base or glitter adhesive to see if that makes them more pigmented color-wise.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Margo!
Thanks, Tanya!
ReplyDeleteMmmm waxy bunnies...
ReplyDeleteThank you! I almost put on a more nude lip color, but I figured if I can't go all out pastel on Easter, then when can I?
