Jester is ridiculously pretty, isn't it? Unfortunately, it creases on my lids after a few hours. But, because it's so pretty, I'm willing to forgive it.
So, do you ever match your accessories to your makeup? Or do you choose accessories first? Or is it too match-y match-y for your taste?
Good lord Jester. What a stunner. I don't get creasing with that one in the particular, but I do get it with some of my other foiled shadows. It's annoying, but like you said, it's gorgeous enough that I'm willing to put up with it!
ReplyDeleteI also really like how you paired the lips. That's never been my forte so I love seeing how others do it!
I'm also the person that matches their eyeshadow to the colour of their clothes (or vice versa)!
Ah- Jester is such gorgeous stuff and, I think I've said it before- Brigitte is amazing on you! Can't argue with the beauty of Love/Lust either :)
ReplyDeleteThat lipstick looks so nice with your skin tone!
ReplyDeleteYou always look perfect in greens! I really want to try some MUG shadows. They swatch so beautifully! Lovely look as always!
ReplyDeleteP.S. I'm still drooling over Love Lust! OMG!
Oh wow, MUG Jester IS a stunning green. Just went on the list. And I'm happy to say that I'm now the proud owner of my first Audacious lipsticks! Yay!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! You know how to wear a shimmery eyeshadow! Jester is such an amazing shade. I don't think I've ever matched my accessories to my makeup, but that's probably because I've never thought to do that. lol
ReplyDeleteI love matching eyeshadow and makeup to clothes and accessories. I think it makes for a cohesive look. And thank you for the compliment on my choice of lip color! I usually choose warm shades with cool toned shadows (it green a cool color?) just so the look isn't too ice queen, or something.
ReplyDeleteColour with a u makes me happy. Maybe I should start spelling it that way.
Thanks, Jennifer! I've really been enjoying Brigitte! And Love Lust! I feel all fancy when I use it. I'm so glad I splurged on it.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Tanya! It's one of the few really opaque lipsticks that I like. I usually go for sheerer stuff because they seem easier to wear. Brigitte is one of those great year-round shades.
ReplyDeleteLove Lust is one crazy expensive blush (although I was able to get it on sale with a Saks coupon and a 10% ebates thingy so it was about $38 instead of $57), but totally worth it. I'm definitely enjoying my MUG shadows. I use at least one of them everyday (it's most often one of the "blending" shadows, but I've been using the foiled ones a bunch, too).
ReplyDeleteYay for your first Audacious lipstick! What shade did you choose? What do you think of the formula?
ReplyDeleteI do love me some seriously shimmery shadow!
ReplyDeleteI most often match my accessories to my eyeshadow -- I mean I choose my makeup first. Because that's what most important. :)
Pretty Fotd! The green eyeshadow looks nice on you!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Pilar!
ReplyDeleteI love matching my clothes and makeup (even though they say you should not do it!) Damn, that Jester is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI think it is fun to match makeup and clothes/accessories! It makes everything sort of cohesive. I wonder who came up with the "rule" that you aren't supposed to match them.
