I have decided to do a "Throwback Thursday" series. I thought it would be fun to take a look at some of the ancient cosmetics in my beauty vault. I'm thinking it will either help me get rid of some old, unusable stuff, or simply decide to be a collector and give up on getting rid of something and just keep it for sentimental reasons and stop feeling guilty about it. Most of the products I have that are rather old were gratis from when I worked in the cosmetics industry.
Today, we have the Too Faced Quicky Chronicles face palettes. There were maybe ten of these released, but I only have four in my collection.
My favorite is probably "The Sweet Tarte" because of the art on the cover (plus the colors are nice).
Anyone remember these?
Those look awesome! I love classic makeup!
ReplyDeleteThese were so fun to collect! (Kinda wish I had more of them... :P )
ReplyDeleteI left another comment on one of your other posts, but your eyeshadow skills are amazing! Now matter now much I play with makeup , my eyes never come out like that (and mine are hooded like yours!) I would love to see some tutorials!
ReplyDeleteThere are days when I wipe off my eye makeup a few times and have to try try again. Or I just throw my hands in the air and give up for the day.
ReplyDeleteWhat year are these from? I never had any of them, but I like seeing old stuff. Nostalgia is fun.
ReplyDeleteI think 2005-2006.
ReplyDeleteI do remember these! They were such cute, handy little palettes but I never picked one up! Thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteThe one thing I didn't like about these palettes was how gross the lip colors would get. But the cover art was so great!
ReplyDeleteI don't remember these but you have to remember it wasn't until 2 years ago when I found my hidden passion for makeup.....I think I was in a brain fog for about 10 years....LOL!
ReplyDeleteI found my passion for makeup when I was a kid. My Aunt Martha would give me, my mom, and my sister a small box of Clinique samples and free gift stuff she didn't want every time we saw her, so that's when I got hooked. I may still have some of the things I chose from those boxes...
ReplyDeleteI was actually thinking about these the other day! I miss them! This was a great post to see them. They were some of the first palettes I ever had!
ReplyDeleteWere you able to part with them, unlike me?
